Holy crap, I can’t believe it’s almost Thanksgiving weekend. Not that I’m particularly excited about the holiday this year, seeing as I’m 1300 miles away from 98.4% of my friends and family. I’ll probably be spending thursday with Alberto and his girlfriend, gorging myself with turkey and counting the minutes down to Friday night’s They Might Be Giants show at 9:30 Club. DC is one of three show’s they’re playing their classic ’89 album “Flood” in it’s entirety for the first time in like some ungodly amount of time and I’m about to pee myself I’m so excited.

I used the post election buy-one-get-one free deal at tickets.com so I have a spare ticket. Just my luck, everyone I’ve asked is either busy, broke or out of town that night so I’ll probably end up going by myself. :(
